Steering Committee Member and former Coordinator Bill Smith passed away unexpectedly in his sleep last week. A native of Michigan, Bill was an avid kayaker and canoeist who joined CPA in 2009 after moving here from Florida. He was Coordinator from 2017-2022 and served on the Steering Committee from 2016 to the present. After retiring from his construction career, Bill was a partner and founder in Cult Classic Brewery on Kent Island. He graciously made the brewery facilities available to CPA for numerous meetings, training sessions and other events.
A memorial service will be held at the Cult Classic Brewery on September 13 at 7 PM.
